1Register your account

  1. Open the account registration page.
  2. Pick a username (3–32 chars, starts with a letter: letters, digits, underscore).
  3. Choose a password (at least 6 characters), confirm it, and solve the little math question.
  4. E-mail is optional.
    Your account is instantly usable — TBC is enabled by default.

2Install & update with the Launcher (recommended)

The official launcher downloads the complete WoW TBC game client straight from this server (2.4.3 build 8606 session), verifies every file (sha256), writes realmlist.wtf / patches HermesProxy.config for you and starts the game — with resume support, so a dropped connection continues where it left off. Pick your platform:

  1. Download the launcher for your operating system (a ±6 MB file).
  2. Run it — a small window opens showing the download progress (first run downloads the whole client, ±11 GB, once).
  3. When it says Ready to play, hit ▶ Play. It launches the game inside the downloaded client — no realmlist editing, no archives, no hassle.
Linux / macOS: the launcher starts the game through Wine — install it first (sudo apt install wine on Debian/Ubuntu, or brew install --cask wine-stable on macOS). On Windows nothing extra is needed. The launcher stores its settings in launcher.json next to the executable if you ever want to point it at another folder or server.
Already have the client / it was installed earlier? Just start the launcher — matching files are verified and skipped, only missing or corrupted files are (re)downloaded.

3Manual install (client archive)

Prefer to do it by hand? Download the original client archive instead (10 GB, extract with 7-Zip):

Make sure the download completes fully (several GB). Keep the folder together, don't move Data/, Wow.exe or the patches out of it.

Google Drive may show a “can’t scan this file for viruses” notice first — click Download anyway and the real download starts.

4Point the client at this server (manual)

  1. Extract the archive into a folder, e.g. C:\World of Warcraft TBC. Allow it to finish completely.
  2. Go into Data\enUS\ (enGB, deDE, frFR etc. — whichever language folder exists).
  3. Open realmlist.wtf in Notepad and replace its content with exactly: 
    set realmlist 212.28.185.14
  4. Save, then run Wow.exe and log in with your registered account. Pick the realm CMaNGOS — your account already has The Burning Crusade (level 70, Outland) unlocked.
Cannot log in? Most often this is the client version (must be 2.4.3, build 8606 — check the bottom-left of the login screen) or the realmlist.wtf line (must be exactly set realmlist 212.28.185.14, no extra spaces).
